What a game last night in Ogden. The pre-game starts with Portland State’s coach Ken Boone pretty giving Montana State no chance to pull off the upset of Weber in Ogden, and then the game starts and the Bobcats do not realize they aware not suppose to lose this game, and by half time actually have a lead. I am not going to regurgitate what happened in that game, other can do that better than me, but I am going to take my hat off to one player who deserves to get more credit than he get, and was the star last night, that of course is Branden Johnson. Johnson has taken it on the chin from the fans and the coaches so many times, and all he does is continued to suck it up and come back play ball like he knows he can. He has endured fans complaints that he is too soft, he has had his minutes cut by the coaches and yet every time he is called on he answers that call. I have met Branden on a couple of occasions and I have always been very impressed with this young man, and I am so happy to have him in the Bobcat fold. Hats off to Mr. Johnson.

Tonight’s game will be a matter of which Bobcat team shows up. If a team shows up that is loose and ready to let it all hang out Portland better look out. If the Bobcat team that is afraid to lose shows up it cold be a blow out. Take the weight off your shoulders tonight and do not play for the fans / boosters and just play for yourselves and have some fun.
