I have heard that the Bobcat coaches are very interested in Mike James a 6-2 guard from Eastern Arizona J.C. Eastern Arizona is the same school that current Bobcat guard Will Bynum is from. Both the Cat’s and Griz recruited James as a high school player and the Griz might be still interested in James also. James played basketball in Oregon so both programs know him well. He is a JC qualifier which means he will have three years of eligibility at the D-1 level. In high school he played for Grant High school that featured two other D-1 players, and played for the Oregon 6a championship and was know as a play maker who could shoot the ball from deep beyond the 3 point line. This year as a true freshman at Eastern Arizona JC he averaged 20 points, 5 assist and 2 steals a game while shooting 40% from 3 point range and 82% from the free throw line. He was also named all ACCAC first team all conference this year for Eastern Arizona. His recruiting has taken off lately and he was placed at Eastern Arizona by Utah State, but they want him to spend two years at EAJC.
